Fall Flowers in Ruskin

This picture was taken in late  December
of a blooming Brazilian Pepper in our drive.
The red berry clusters make
 nice Christmas decorations.

Delightful low growing Burr Marigold
Kosteletz pentacarpos

Under the tall pines and Maples were large
Climbing Purple Asters
Symphyotrichum carolinanum

Nowhere grows it bigger or better than the Ruskin area.

Gigantic Yellow daises that stand 10 feet tall.

These were in a sandy field.
They may be Yellow Lupines.

Delightful yellow blooms. Maybe a Butterfly Pea
with 4 inch long green seed pods.

Wild Arrowhead plant
Probably "Pixie"

Here is a huge buding bush along a watery ditch.
A Simson  Stopper before it is in full bloom.

Many beautiful grasses, but the pink are so pretty.
Hairgrass - Peaceae

Yellow flowering wildflower under the pines.

   It's been a wonderful experience
 to photograph month by month
all year - wildflowers in bloom.
Ruskin, Florida - a city in bloom.
